We enjoyed a three day week end! Totally enjoyed it. We hardly left the house except to go out for dinner on Valentines Day. Along with getting our list of chores done we actually had time to relax.
Oh to live on a tropical island....Maybe we will win Publishers Clearing house.
The very best thing to come out of this week end was to finally begin to prepare our house selling plan. I am still not convinced we can get this accomplished by springtime but I know we can get-er-done before the summer is over anyway. Many repairs & rebuilds have been done over the 10 or so years I have lived in this little cottage. Roger has made many improvements, repairs and enhancements in the last couple of years Julie and Mark helped us out by cleaning up some detail and completely painting a couple of room including the dreaded trim work. The bedroom is delightfully light and airy now! I just can’t thank them enough!
we may have buy a ranch. LOL
Another of the time consuming details which have been lingering for some time is entry into the Heart of America Scottish Terrier Specialty. Show is the week end of March 4th. I think we are all set now; we have our grooming space, hotel room, time off from work scheduled, banquet reservations, and show entries made. Now to get their coats in shape – fast! I will need to work their coats every single night in order to accomplish this in time. They are roughly done, but need lots of tweaking!
Will the real Roger Collier please stand up?
Notice our zipline guide making a heart with his hands behind us. Isn't that sweet!
There's the real Roger Collier

Here’s our working plan of action for preparing the Bonhaven
cottage for sell:
Set an appointment with our neighborhood Realtor. She has
sold more of these little historic Craftsman houses than anyone around and she seems
to really know her stuff. A year ago she
expressed a strong interest in seeing the inside of our house in the hopes of
listing it so I think she will be delighted to work with us. Below
is our list of jobs we think are important to do prior to listing the house. The
Realtor may have more suggestions for us.
Interior
Bathroom:
Remove wallpaper, replace faucet, replace towel rack
(pewter), re-grout floor, replace heat/light/vent, paint walls a sand color,
refinish original medicine cabinet.

Fix seams on ceiling, fix angled section east wall, paint light
lemon yellow
Hallway:
Move light to center, replace cold air vent, paint light
blue hue Grey paint (same as dining/bedroom/stairs/dog room)

Paint ceiling, finish closet door-rehang mirror, find a door
for room, touch up trim, paint inside of closet
