Monday evening we groomed dogs. Cabby was a bit nervous, but
settled down for tasty liver bites. When loose in the house he is wearing his
hiking-leg protector. (prevents marking) Roger says the thing make him look like he's ready for skydiving or rock climbing; it's quite an outfit. So far, he has only tested it twice, but I haven’t
given him much of a chance. I watch him constantly when he is free
inside. The poor sweetie is suffering right now with B being in heat. He doesn't understand, but he knows he should be doing something! We have not had any issue with aggression from this fine young
man. He seems to remember home and has settled in now.
Percy on the other hand is another story; Pimp Daddy is feeling a
little intimidated by this young stallion. He actually growled at Cabby and stared him directly in the eye while eating his dinner. Bad move Percy man.

Tuesday evening was Roger’s Choctaw class. His language skills are
improving with every class now. He tries to teach me some phases, but honestly
I think that’s a lost cause. I have a hard enough time with English!

Wednesday evening we started Diana and B back into Agility.
B was thrilled but Diana was bored since she was repeating the class only so B
could catch up. It will probably be a slow 9 week class because they are
ready to move on now but B had to start with the beginner class.
Cabby came along for the ride and socializing. He patiently waited in his
crate watching all of the activities around him at the dog school.

Speaking of crates, I ordered some new smaller soft-sided ones for
use in the car. The metal ones are so big and clunky that I fear they will
damage (new car) SexySadie. Also I think the dogs will be more comfortable in
soft crates; cozy/soft & still protected.
Thursday evening we went to the Greek Fest for dancing, lamb and
baklava. I just adore the Greeks for their ability to dance so freely, and
breezy; with a devil-may-care demeanor.

Friday evening we rushed about titillated, exited to see the
Claremore High School Football team WIN again. They were so spectacular last week! Darned if someone didn't transfer ALL the good players away during the course to the week. Obviously!
This was no doubt the worst game ever! However, the Band was awesome as always. For the halftime show we were treated to the Marching Band, along with all the trimmings.
It was quite late when we got home, but Saturday morning we were
up at the crack of dawn, for we had errands to run and FUN to be had.
Off to the Mazda dealership for new rubber floor mats and a rubber
tray for the cargo area for Sadie. We also bought the crossbars the roof rack, so
we are now ready to roll.
Stopped by Sam’s for some much needed grocery’s. This is always an
adventure on Saturdays, LOL. It’s silly but Roger and I enjoy the food vendors
who offer all kinds of samples. It’s like snack heaven for free. Tee hee hee.
It was suggested
Saturday afternoon that we better go back to the Greek Fest for an early
dinner. Roger, Dylan and myself waited a very long time in the smothering humid
heat, just to enjoy some more calamari, gyro’s, and spanakopita. Dylan and
Roger both had to purchase authentic Greek fisherman’s hats. So masculine – I
love it.
The spanakopita was not as awesome as Laurie's!
Dylan had to be
transported back to Claremore for a Dungeons and Dragons party while I stayed
home washing the dogs and cleaning the house. What a drag, but it needed to be
done!
Sunday at 8 AM we were at the West Side park for Scot Fest! Now
this is really my kind of place! We volunteered to assist with the front gate.
I already knew Dylan was sharp at taking money, but as it turns out, he’s also amazing at making change. He and Roger sold the tickets while I took their
tickets and stamped their hands.
Unofficially, I was also the Kilt inspector,
making the men twirl around like large ballerina’s before they could enter.
Thankfully, only a couple offered to show more thigh than I wanted to see!
It was a jolly fun time.
After our shift was over we enjoyed some Scottish Meat pies and a
large Belhaven Stout, while listening to a great group by the name of Cleghorn.
Of the three bands we gave a listen to, this was my favorite this year. We
bought all three of their CD’s! Then it was off to the shops and the games.
Luckily Sunday was typical Scottish weather for the most part, but heated up
towards the eve. It was a great day!

| Just last Christmas |
I wandered over to the Clan tents and found my clans: Scot &
Ramsay’s. They were astounded to learn I was of both clans. As luck would have
it, the husband was Scot and the wife was Ramsey. Even more of a surprise, we
soon learned that no doubt we must be related. I will be checking into
this further, but what a shock to run into someone who not only knows of your
people but indeed might also related. I knew there was a portion of Scot in my
blood but apparently there is more than I knew. My new friend has the genealogy of every last name in my pedigree, except for Parker. Scots on both side include; Ramsay, Scott, Aman, Jarman, Marshburn, Cavenaugh, and more.
RED IS BACK! Season 2 begins for the
Blacklist. Hit Man of the year – James Spader!
Pop Corn & beverage in hand we prepared for
the event an hour in advance, just to make sure we did not miss it. LOL
We were not disappointed; love this show.
